PARK CITY, Utah — After direction from the Park City Council earlier this spring, city staff will present updated concepts for a proposed walking and biking path along Little Kate and Lucky John to the public at an open house Tuesday, June 23, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the PC MARC front lawn.
The project area, which runs through a key residential corridor connecting neighborhoods near Park City High School and surrounding subdivisions, has been the focus of ongoing discussions about pedestrian safety, traffic calming, and improved bike and walking access.
Residents will be able to review updated concepts for walking, biking, and traffic safety improvements along Little Kate Road; talk with project staff; and share feedback.
An online version of the materials and a public survey will also be available through June 30 for those unable to attend in person. The survey is available here.
The Little Kate and Lucky John corridor has long been identified in prior city planning efforts as a challenging route for non-motorized users, with limited sidewalk infrastructure, narrow roadway sections, and increasing neighborhood traffic tied to regional growth and recreation access.
Previous concepts have explored a range of approaches, including multi-use pathways, crossing improvements, and traffic-calming features intended to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists while maintaining neighborhood circulation.
City officials have emphasized that community feedback will play a central role in shaping the final design direction before the project advances toward construction planning.
