Powder alert: A winter storm is forecasted to move into the area on Friday, bringing 10-15″ of snow to Park City Mountains through Sunday.

Basin Recreation has closed Trail Side Bike Park for the season. Time for the snow tires.

UFOs? There are still no clear answers in the mysterious death of 13 cows found near the Rail Trail in Summit County. Tests for heavy metal poisoning and toxic plants have come back negative, with lightning now being cited as a possible cause. Of note: The cows were found near the Richardson Flats EPA superfund site.
