Got a spare $31 million? This Park City house could be yours

The White Pine Lane house has a large master bedroom, two offices, a heated saltwater pool, an elevator and garage space for eight vehicles, on 5.4 acres

With just four bedrooms (and six bathrooms but only one full bath) in more than 10,000 square feet, a house on White Pine Lane, on the south side of Canyons Village, has gone on the market for $31 million, making it what one news outlet claims is the most expensive home in Utah.

What’s occupying all that space? The White Pine Lane house, built in 2015, has a large master bedroom as well as two offices, a heated saltwater pool, an elevator and garage space for eight vehicles, on 5.4 acres, according to its Zillow listing.

It also has “zen-like” waterfalls, the listing says.

Equally important, in the location-location-location school of real estate, is the property’s “private ski access to the base of the Tombstone lift, perfect for skipping the crowds to first tracks on a powder day.”

Property taxes in 2022 were $96,292.

By way of comparison, the Park City Board of Realtors found that the median sale price of a house in Park City in September was nearly a tenth of the asking price of the White Pine Lane house, at $3,213,602, and that the median price was down about 13% from the same time last year.

The median sold house in Park City in that time was priced at $1,230 per square foot. The asking price for the White Pine Lane house is about $3,100 per square foot.
