Highway Patrol Offices are collecting school item donations in August

SALT LAKE CITY — Today through August 31, all Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) offices will be collecting any new school item donations for the upcoming K-12 school year.
Items include:
Backpacks
Calculator
Pencils
Colored Pencils
Glue
Notebooks
Scissors
Folders
Binders
Crayons
Lunch Boxes
Mechanical Pencils
Erasers
Rulers
Highlighters
Markers
“This effort is to help support the community and get supplies out to those in need,” the UHP said in a Facebook post.
