Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd hits headline Park City charity concert

PARK CITY, Utah — Brannan Allison is heading the charge and has organized a new Park City charity event. The Classic Rock All Stars Benefit Concert at The Marquis Park City on Sept. 25 will raise money for three local organizations: Park City Education Foundation, Park City Ski & Snowboard and Park City Swimming Boosters. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show running from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.
The concert brings together a group of Las Vegas-based musicians who have performed with some of rock-n-roll’s biggest names, according to the event’s ticket website. The lineup will feature classic rock hits from Led Zeppelin, The Who, Queen, Pink Floyd and more.
Allison founded Source One Events in 1998 after working in production for the Las Vegas Convention Authority. His company has since produced PGA Tour golf tournaments, college football games, Electric Daisy Carnival, the National Finals Rodeo, and the Professional Bull Riders World Finals, as well as corporate shows for clients including Caesars Entertainment. Allison moved his family to Park City five years ago and now splits his time between the two cities.
The idea grew out of personal milestones. Allison’s wife is turning 50 this year, he is turning 60, and the couple is celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. Allison said he had long wanted to bring in his friend Brody Dolyniuk, a Las Vegas-based performer he has booked for corporate events for years, to mark the occasion.
What started as a small private performance grew into a full concert once Allison began looking for a venue. He said he initially planned to bring in sound and lighting equipment from Las Vegas before he was pointed to The Marquis.
“These guys have an amazing sound and light and video setup ready to go,” Allison said of the venue.

Once Allison settled on the venue, he decided to combine the anniversary celebration with a fundraiser, splitting the space between a private party upstairs and a ticketed benefit concert downstairs. He picked the three beneficiary organizations based on his daughters’ involvement in swimming, ski and snowboard racing, and the local schools.
Dolyniuk is known in Las Vegas for his classic rock tribute shows and for playing nearly every instrument on stage alongside his wife. For the Park City show, Dolyniuk assembled a group called the Classic Rock All Stars.
Allison said he has booked Dolyniuk for corporate shows for years and considers him one of the most talented performers he has worked with.
“I think he’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever run into,” Allison said.
General admission tickets are $100, a flat rate that includes taxes and fees. The event is 21 and over, and the bar will operate on a pay-as-you-go basis. The show is general admission and standing room, though a limited seating section will be available for guests who need it.
Organizers are aiming to sell 650 tickets. Allison encouraged anyone interested to buy early.
“Tickets are selling fast,” Allison said. “Get your tickets before they’re sold out.”
Allison said he hopes to make the benefit concert an annual tradition, potentially bringing Dolyniuk back for different shows in future years.
“Once people see the show, everybody leaves there blown away,” Allison said. “The next time this guy comes, I’m going to be back, and I’m going to be bringing friends.”
