PARK CITY, Utah — The Kimball Art Center’s Art Soirée is back for its fifth year, and this time, the night sky is the dress code. Set for April 4 from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at the Pendry Park City, the 2026 Art Soirée invites guests to step into an immersive evening of light, color and imagination, all inspired by the art center’s current exhibition, “Returning to Wonder: Finding Moments of Awe in the World Around Us.” Expect live art, creative black-tie flair, and a programming lineup that goes well beyond a standard fundraiser dinner.

The evening’s theme, celestial glamor, is more than a dress code; it’s an invitation. Guests are encouraged to interpret it creatively, and if past years are any indication, they will.

Live art, live bids

One of the evening’s standout features is a live mural being created on-site by Anna Nizhoni, a Utah artist whose work draws on traditional Navajo themes while connecting to the exhibition’s exploration of nature, the universe and scale. The completed mural, with custom framing, will be offered as a live auction item at the end of the night.

The live auction, available only to event attendees, runs alongside a silent auction open to the public, including those not attending the soirée. This year’s offerings are eclectic and genuinely impressive. Among the items up for bid:

A handmade, nature-themed functioning art guitar by artist Matt Schaub (@fretaboutit)
A collector’s cellar wine collection featuring nearly 30 bottles
An Alpinist dinner private party
A hot air balloon ride
Travel packages to Las Vegas, Belize and Costa Rica
The golden ticket Kentucky bourbon trip

The Art Soirée is the Kimball Art Center’s primary annual fundraiser, with proceeds supporting exhibitions and year-round programming in Park City. Even if you are unable to attend the event in person, the silent auction will be available to all.
