Park City mogul skiers Nick Page, Charlie Mickel finish top 15 at Milano Cortina Olympics

LIVIGNO, Italy — Park City’s Nick Page and Charlie Mickel notched top-15 finishes in the men’s moguls event at the Milano Cortina Olympics, placing seventh and 12th, respectively.

In his second trip to the Games, Page advanced with the top eight skiers to the medal finals, where he posted a score of 75. Mickel, in his Olympic debut, finished with a 78.03 score in an elimination round.

Australia’s Cooper Woods stunned the crowd, scoring a 83.60 on the final run and narrowly securing the gold medal after being ranked at just 25th in the world. The silver medal was won by Canada’s Mikael Kingsbury and bronze by Japan’s Ikuma Horishima.

Page and Mickel will compete next in the men’s dual moguls on Sunday, starting at 2:30 a.m. MST.
