TODAY: Park City hosts Olympic Homecoming Parade for Utah athletes

PARK CITY, Utah — This evening, an Olympic and Paralympic Homecoming Parade will celebrate athletes from across Utah — including athletes returning from the 2026 Winter Games  on Historic Main Street in Park City.

The parade will take place April 3 from 5–5:30 p.m. down Main Street, followed by a recognition ceremony from 5:30–6 p.m. at the bottom of Main Street and live music with photos and autographs from 6–7 p.m.

Park City’s Olympic athlete delegation, often referred to as “Park City Nation,” included 57 competitors representing six countries at the 2026 Winter Games. If competing as their own nation, Park City athletes would have finished 14th in the Olympic medal standings, tied with Finland and Australia.

Park City Nation athletes earned multiple medals at the 2026 Winter Games, highlighted by gold in mixed team aerials (Connor Curran, Kaila Kuhn, Chris Lillis), silver in team pursuit (Casey Dawson, Ethan Cepuran, Emery Lehman), and a gold and silver from Paralympic snowboarder Noah Elliott. Additional podium finishes came from Zoe Atkin (GBR), Mac Forehand, Alex Hall, and Ashley Farquharson.

Athletes with ties to Utah secured a total of 14 medals (four gold, six silver, and four bronze) at the Games. Over 80 athletes with Utah ties competed, making up more than a third of Team USA.

The public is invited to line Main Street to cheer on Utah’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes and take part in a community celebration of the state’s deep Olympic legacy. Athletes will be available following the parade for photos and autographs.
