The hunt, organized by Heber Valley Harvest, launched Oct. 1 with a series of riddles and clues directing participants around the Heber Valley in search of the hidden pumpkin. The prize pool had initially been estimated at approximately $1,500 before growing to $5,000 by the time the pumpkin was found.
“We want to say thank you to everyone who participated. What we thought would be a few hundred people turned into thousands,” Heber Valley Harvest said. “We already have sponsors wanting to go big next year. So it’s been decided that we are doing this again! We’ll be back in 2027 and the prize pool is going to be wild! Some of the ideas we had after the fact this year we are going to implement next year.”
Heber Valley Harvest will continue to share updates on Instagram and Facebook.
