Snowiest state in North America, Utah resorts top the snowfall charts this season

UTAH – With constant snow reports and winter weather warnings, it’s no surprise (and a relief) that four out of five North American resorts with the most snowfall are in Utah.

Alta Ski Area, Snowbird, Brighton Resort, and Solitude Mountain Resort top the charts, with three resorts reporting over 300 inches of snowfall to date. Mammoth Mountain in California is number one, with an estimated 130-178″ base.

Alta Ski Brighton Resort’s base is 119″, Brighton has 99″ on base, Snowbird has 107″, and Solitude Resort has a 100″ base. While Park City’s resorts are not far behind, Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort have a base of 84″.
