Park City-filmed “Marshals” returns for season 2 Sunday on CBS

PARK CITY, Utah — “Marshals,” the “Yellowstone” spinoff filmed largely in Park City, returns for its second season Sunday, Oct. 4. Park City viewers can watch the premiere at 7:30 p.m. Sunday on KUTV 2 or stream it live on Paramount+. New episodes air Sundays at 7 p.m. starting Oct. 11.
Luke Grimes reprises his role as Kayce Dutton, a former Navy SEAL and cowboy who joins an elite unit of U.S. marshals in Montana. The show is set in Big Sky Country but shot at Park City Film Studios and on location across Summit, Wasatch and Morgan counties.
Production on season 2 began in Park City in June. Locals work on the series both on camera and behind the scenes. The premiere airs a half hour later than usual. Starting Oct. 11, “Marshals” moves back to its regular Sunday 8 p.m. ET slot.
The first season drew more than 9.5 million viewers, making it the top new series premiere of the 2025-26 TV season. CBS renewed the show after just two episodes.
