Guardsman Pass and Pine Canyon Road to open for the season May 23

Parking will be prohibited along Guardsman Pass and Pine Canyon Road, and within the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — Wasatch County and UDOT will open Guardsman Pass and Pine Canyon Road to the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area on Thursday, May 23.

According to a statement from Park City, the roads will provide access to the area, but trails and trailheads within the conservation area, including Bloods Lake, Empire Pass and Bonanza Flat, will remain closed until snow levels melt and trail conditions improve.

Park City’s Trails and Open Space team will continue to monitor conditions in the area, and will announce the openings of these facilities when weather conditions permit.
