MIDWAY, Utah — Soldier Hollow’s (SoHo) Bike Fest is on June 26 – 28 this summer, where mountain bikers of all levels can attend the family-friendly event, drawing participants from both local and out-of-state for this International Cycling Union (UCI)- sanctioned competition.
Points and prize money are on the line for the best of the best riders at Bike Fest.
The venue played host in 2002 and will again in 2034 for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics, including cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and biathlon.
Camping is always a popular choice for event attendees, and there are plenty of spots throughout the Heber Valley. For those looking for a roof over their heads, one option is the Residences at Utah Olympic Park.

“Celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic spirit by trying new sports.” Writes the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation on their website. All day on Friday, June 26, they will have an Olympic and Paralympic Day booth with laser biathlon, ski ergs, floor curling, and a real skeleton sled for racers and visitors to try for free. “Win prizes for shooting accuracy, power output and enthusiasm throughout the day.”
The Registration page for Bike Fest is available here.
USA Cycling works closely with SoHo to put this on annually, with course maps showing races such as the 8 km, the 4 km, a Short Track, and a Cross Country.
SoHo is looking for a few more volunteers to sign up to be on-site for Bike Fest this year; no experience is necessary.
