County report shows first 155-unit affordable phase submitted for review

PARK CITY, Utah — Dakota Pacific Real Estate has rebranded as Six Ridge, and a recent Summit County report identifies the Kimball Junction development as Altus Park City.

The company’s website states that Dakota Pacific Real Estate “is now” Six Ridge and describes the change as “the continued evolution of Dakota Pacific Real Estate.”

In a recent LinkedIn announcement the company announcement, Six Ridge said the new name reflects the company’s focus on six Mountain West states and described the change as one of “clarity and alignment.”

The new project name appears in a March 26 county manager report to the Summit County Council. The report states that county planning staff received “the first phase sketch plan submittal from Six Ridge Partners for Altus Park City [new name for the neighborhood], Affordable Phase 1.”

The same report states that “the Joint Venture agreement between the county and Six Ridge Partners (DPRE rebrand) is awaiting signature by the county.”

The report also states that the first affordable phase under review is “intended to be a 155-unit, 4% LIHTC deal.”

The Kimball Junction project has been the subject of years of public debate in Summit County. TownLift has followed the proposal through county review, public-private partnership discussions, and subsequent state action affecting the development process.

That coverage has included revised project plans, a referendum fight, and legislation affecting the county’s review authority, including a 2024 proposal that reduced the project by 373 residential units and 430,000 square feet, and 2025 bills that county officials said could reshape development in Kimball Junction.

The March 26 report indicates that the first affordable housing phase has now moved into sketch plan review under the project’s new name.
