City Nature Challenge

Get ready for the 2026 City Nature Challenge and be part of a global competition documenting the natural world around you! From Friday, April 24 – Sunday, April 26, stop by the EcoCenter to chat with a naturalist and grab a nature pack, then take a self-guided adventure on the Wetland Discovery Trail to make observations. Or stroll on our Storywalk and read a book page by page as you stroll the trail and explore the sights and sounds around you.

For our Sunday craft on April 26, 11 AM – 1 PM, create a nature journal out of recycled materials to help record your observations!
