Park City Council unanimously appoints Adam Lenhard as city manager

PARK CITY, Utah — Adam Lenhard has been unanimously appointed as Park City’s new city manager, following a City Council vote Thursday.

The appointment comes after a months-long search to replace former city manager Matt Dias. Mayor Ryan Dickey recommended Lenhard for the role and thanked Jodi Emery for serving as acting city manager during the transition.

Dickey said he was seeking “someone with a demonstrated track record of strong organizational leadership,” adding that Lenhard stood out for his experience and people-first approach.

“You showed it in the interview process, you showed us with your experience what you can do,” Dickey said. “We were all impressed by the character that you bring to the job.”

After brief discussion, Councilmember Diego Zegarra introduced a motion to appoint Lenhard, which passed unanimously.

“Thank you for your confidence in this appointment,” Lenhard said. “I am all in, 100%. You’re going to get everything that I have to offer.”

Lenhard said his family will soon relocate to Park City and that they are “excited to be part of the community.”

He will begin the role on March 31 with an annual salary of $250,000.
