PARK CITY, Utah – Vail Resorts has launched sales of its 2026–27 Epic Pass lineup, introducing a new pricing tier aimed squarely at younger skiers and snowboarders.
For the first time, the company is offering a “Young Adult” category that reduces season pass prices by about 20% for people ages 13 to 30 — a move designed to attract Gen Z and younger millennial riders who may be more price-sensitive but eager to spend on outdoor experiences.
Under the new structure, the standard Epic Pass for adults 31 and older will start at $1,089. The new young adult tier drops that price to $869.

The discount applies to other passes as well. The Epic Local Pass will start at $809 for older adults, but $649 for those in the 13–30 age bracket.
The change signals a shift in how the company markets its flagship pass product, which provides access to dozens of resorts across North America and internationally. By offering deeper discounts to younger customers, the company appears to be targeting skiers and snowboarders who are early in their careers or still in school.
Pass buyers may be able to reduce the cost even further through another incentive. Skiers and riders who purchased lift tickets at Vail-owned resorts during the 2025–26 season can convert up to $175 of that ticket purchase into a credit toward a 2026–27 season pass through the company’s “Turn in Your Ticket” program.
When combined with the new age-based discount, eligible young adults could bring the price of an Epic Pass down to about $696, or roughly $474 for an Epic Local Pass.
Epic Passes for the 2026/27 season are on sale now, with prices increasing later in the year as demand rises.
