Monday, February 9
Incident: Parking problem
A dark-colored sedan with an individual inside was reported parked in front of a “No Parking” sign on Golden Way. The caller did not request contact.
Incident: Disturbing the peace
A caller on Prospector Avenue reported loud banging noises from a nearby address, stating the ongoing issue was keeping them awake.
Tuesday, February 10
Incident: Unwanted person
A white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a white T-shirt and no shoes, was reported attempting to enter a closed Main Street business.
Incident: Search and Rescue
Search and Rescue responded to a stranded motorist approximately five miles up Upper Setting who became stuck in the snow. Heber Valley Tow was contacted to assist.

Incident: DUI
Deputies responded to a report of a male asleep at the wheel at a gas pump. Upon contact, deputies observed empty pill bottles and signs of impairment. The individual was unable to stand without assistance and was transported to Park City Medical Center by Park City Fire. Following the investigation, the individual was arrested for DUI.
Wednesday, February 11
Incident: Citizen assist
A caller on Lower Iron Horse Loop requested assistance after their dog became tangled in a seatbelt inside a vehicle. Officers responded to help cut the seatbelt.
Incident: DUI
Deputies stopped a vehicle for having no visible license plate. The odor of alcohol was detected and the driver admitted to consuming alcohol. An open container was located near the driver. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, the driver was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail for DUI and alcohol-related offenses.
Thursday, February 12
Incident: Motorist assist
Officers advised a motorist who was stopped near the runaway truck ramp that the location was unsafe.
Incident: Search and Rescue
Search and Rescue responded to assist a stranded motorist. The individual was located and arranged their own off-road tow.
Incident: Hit and run
A vehicle was reported damaged on the driver’s side rear door in the east end of a Little Kate Road parking lot.
Friday, February 13
Incident: Suspicious
A homeowner who was out of town received a notification that her garage door was closing when no one should have been home.
Incident: Vagrancy
A homeless man was reported near a heated seat outside a Main Street bar.
Incident: Disturbing the peace
Amplified music was reported coming from a Main Street business for several hours. The caller requested contact.
Incident: Disturbing the peace
A caller on Woodside Avenue reported loud music and partying in a hot tub, stating the noise was disruptive.
Saturday, February 14
Incident: Suspicious
A caller on Venus Court reported a woman repeatedly coming to her home and stating it was mandatory to answer a census.
Sunday, February 15
Incident: Non-injury accident
A vehicle made a U-turn in front of a High Valley Transit bus at Empire Avenue and Park Avenue, resulting in a collision. No injuries were reported.
Incident: Wildlife problem
A moose was reported wandering near Park Avenue and Iron Horse Drive, near Starbucks.
Incident: Parking problem
Multiple vehicles were reported illegally parked on a dirt hillside near the skatepark on Sullivan Road.
Incident: Protection order violation / DUI
A suspicious vehicle was observed at the Jeremy Ranch store after hours. The vehicle fled when contact was attempted and failed to maintain its lane. The driver was stopped, found to be intoxicated, and arrested for DUI and an active arrest warrant.
