Deer Valley to open expanded resort Nov. 29 with exclusive pass holder weekend

PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort will open its 2025-26 ski season Nov. 29-30 with an exclusive weekend for season pass holders before opening to the public Dec. 1, the resort announced Monday.

The opening marks the debut of the resort’s largest expansion, more than doubling its skiable terrain to 4,300 acres with seven new chairlifts and 80 new ski runs.

“So much hard work has gone into meeting and exceeding our Expanded Excellence milestones ahead of the 25/26 season, and we are thrilled for guests to experience the newest phase of Deer Valley this winter,” said Deer Valley President & COO Todd Bennett. “With so many new lifts, runs and untouched terrain to explore, guests can take comfort knowing they will be met with the same unparalleled guest service and luxury experience for which Deer Valley is known wherever they find themselves on the mountain.”

The expansion brings the resort’s total to 31 chairlifts and more than 200 ski runs across seven bowls. Since December 2024, Deer Valley has added 10 new lifts and nearly 100 new runs.

East Village Express Gondola
Linking the new Deer Valley East Village to Park Peak, the East Village Gondola is Utah’s first 10-passenger gondola, with individual heated seats, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and cabins arriving every 12 seconds. The system boasts an uphill capacity of 3,000 guests per hour and ensures a ride experience that is smooth, silent and visually stunning.
Pinyon Express
The Pinyon Express links Deer Valley’s existing terrain on Flagstaff Mountain with new beginner- friendly, high alpine trails near Park Peak. Guests will enjoy
six-passenger bubble chairs with individually heated seats, designed to deliver protection and warmth at high elevation.
Revelator Express
A less-than-5-minute ride on the new Revelator Express quad lift gives
skiers access to never- before-skied terrain on the new Park Peak.

The East Village will feature 1,200 new day skier parking spaces.
