Five-tower luxury project underway at Deer Valley Resort’s East Village
DEER VALLEY, Utah — Construction has begun on Cormont, a five-tower luxury development at Deer Valley’s East Village, set to bring 350 new residences with direct ski access by 2027.
“Cormont is a once in a generation type of development,” said Jared Lucero, CEO of REEF, the project’s developer. “It is the type of development that changes a place for decades to come.”
The first 48-unit tower, dubbed Tower One, will house a reception lobby with adjoining cafe and dining areas, multiple lounges, and outdoor terraces. A fitness center will include a hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, and private showers. Units range from one-bedroom condos to five-bedroom penthouses, with prices from $1.7 million to $9.75 million.
Designed by Gomez Vazquez International and FFKR Architects, the development includes temperature-controlled underground parking and lobbies connected to dining venues. A pool with sundecks overlooks Jordanelle Reservoir, while a ski valet provides overnight equipment storage and day-use lockers.
The building features energy-efficient materials, drought-resistant landscaping, and dark sky lighting standards. Two lifts and a gondola will connect residents to the ski area, with amenities accessible through a dedicated app.
“Cormont is in the center of Deer Valley’s East Village, embodying our vision of being the ‘middle of everywhere,’” said Lucero.
