NOAA warns residents of "scattered microbursts" today

PARK CITY, Utah — The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released a “Scattered Microbursts” notice for today in Northern and Central Utah. Afternoon thunderstorms could bring heavy rain, lightning, and strong winds of more than 50 mph.

NOAA recommends securing outdoor items and seeking shelter if you hear thunder, as lightning could be near.
