Recycle Utah’s Green Drinks zooms in on plastics

PARK CITY, Utah — Green Drinks is an opportunity to meet and mingle with other eco-conscious people, and hear from local leaders about sustainability, environmental, and social advocacy issues. This free gathering takes place on the second Tuesday of every other month.

From microplastics to microrubber

On Tuesday, March 12, fulFILLed Lifestyle Co.  will host a discussion on plastic from 6-8 p.m. at their store in the Park City Outlets. Kimberly Flores from fulFILLed Lifestyle Co. will talk about the biggest offenders of microplastics and simple alternatives.

Mike Luers from the Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District will cover microplastics, nanoplastics, and microrubber.

Practice sustainable transportation

Please walk, bus or carpool if possible. Green Drinks is part of Recycle Utah’s green business program, which categorizes business into three levels based on their sustainability achievements. fulFILLed has reached their Black Diamond level.
