30 units broken into at Park City storage facility

The owner of one unit claimed a hand gun was stolen out of hers, among other items.

PARK CITY, Utah — On March 13, the Storage Depot in Park City notified the owners of at least 30 different storage units in their facility where someone had broken the locks at some point in the day or evening prior.

Mary, the owner of The Storage Depot has confirmed new security cameras have already been installed, new locks have since been placed on the storage units affected, and only small items were removed from just a couple of the units.

It’s been almost 20 years since the last break-in. The last time The Storage Depot had an incident was in 1995.

This is a developing story and is currently under investigation by the Park City Police Department.
