Deer Valley to host community workshop on updates to Snow Park base area March 26

PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort will host a community workshop on updates to the Snow Park base area plan on Tuesday, March 26.

According to a statement from Deer Valley, the plans for the Snow Park base area have recently evolved following engagement with stakeholders, the city and the community.

“The Deer Valley Team will be delivering a presentation of the plans and concepts that will be the foundation of our next steps as part of the Planning Commission Submission in the coming months,” said a statement from Deer Valley.

Specifically, the presentation will address the following:

• Access/Egress: Drop-off sequence, traffic, and pedestrian connections
• Character Zones: Skier services and childcare, hospitality and retail, event spaces
• Transit: Location of transit station and strategy for public buses and shuttles
• Parking: Parking garage entry points, layout and plaza entry points

The public is invited to attend the presentation on Tuesday, March 26 from 4-6 p.m. in the Spruce Room at the Lodges at Deer Valley. Parking will be available across the street in lots five and six, and guest check-in will take place in the lobby of The Lodges. Light snacks and beverages will be served.
