What’s new for the 2024/25 winter season?

Pending the close of Vail Resorts’ acquisition, Epic Pass holders will have access to Switzerland’s Crans-Montana Mountain Resort. The resort, located two and a half hours from Vail’s SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun, boasts over 4,593 feet of skiable vertical terrain, and approximately 87 miles of trails.

Mobile Pass, which is already available to guests at 36 Vail Resorts, will make its way to Whistler Blackcomb. This feature allows guests to store their pass on their phone, put their phone in their pocket, and have their pass scanned hands free with Bluetooth technology.

Certain Epic Pass holders can receive ten Buddy Tickets and six Ski With a Friend Tickets. These passes will be available to use through the My Epic app.

Vail is planning to invest $214 million into its resorts in 2024, including projects at Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Hunter Mountain in New York, Afton Alps in Minnesota, Perisher in Australia and Andermatt-Sedrun in Switzerland. These projects are expected to launch before or during the 2024/25 winter season.
