Community business profile: PC Yoga Collective

'We are just so continually full of love and gratitude for this community of yogis who choose to spend their days with us.' - PC Yoga Collective owner and co-founder Jenn Armstrong-Solomon

PARK CITY, Utah — Redstone-based PC Yoga Collective opened in March of 2021 with the ambition to empower students and instructors, the vision to gather the most experienced teachers, and the heart to price classes for obtainable frequent practice. The heated studio uses infrared radiant heat, which can help alleviate soreness associated with arthritis, joint pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. The newest addition to the space is their non-heated room, the B-Side.

PC Yoga Collective owner and co-founder Jenn Armstrong-Solomon is enthusiastic about the business model. “We want to create a space of community, where teachers and practitioners feel appreciated, valued, and cared for,” she exclaims. “It is so important for us to highlight the work, cost, training, and labor that goes into being a great yoga teacher, and very clearly and loudly say that it’s a profession worth valuing.”

Fair pricing is the backbone of the thriving business. “We had a crazy idea to change the model of boutique yoga studios by simplifying pricing options ($15 for one drop-in, or 10 classes for $100) and paying teachers more,” Jenn explains. The mission is working, the studio is thriving, and the dedicated yoga community is growing.

Expanding to include a non-heated room was a decision based on wanting to open the studio to more yogis. “We know that not everyone wants to do hot yoga, so the option to have really great power yoga in a non-heated studio is thrilling. There are also so many types of classes that aren’t conducive to a hot room, so we are stoked to offer some different restorative classes, myofascial release classes, kundalini classes, functional alignment classes, and more meditation classes on the B-Side,” Jenn exclaims.

“It’s so friendly here; everyone is so happy to see everyone else. I’ve never felt this kind of community vibe (we call it #VibeTribe) anywhere but Park City. It makes my heart smile,” Jenn explains, capturing the welcoming feeling at PC Yoga Collective, “We are just so continually full of love and gratitude for this community of yogis who choose to spend their days with us.”
