PARK CITY, Utah — PC Yoga Collective is opening a second location in Prospector Square this spring, responding to months-long waitlists that have made it increasingly difficult for local practitioners to secure class spots.
“We knew coming into ski season this year that we needed to expand again,” said Jenn Armstrong-Solomon, owner and founder of PC Yoga Collective. “We have anywhere from 11 to 14 classes a day between the two studios, and by November 2025, they were on waitlists for days, sometimes weeks in advance.”
While popularity signals success, Armstrong-Solomon said the extended waitlists create challenges for local yogis who can’t plan their schedules weeks in advance.
The search for a suitable space proved challenging. Armstrong-Solomon initially hoped to move into the Tadasana studio in Jeremy Ranch, but that space went to Movement Elevated, a Pilates studio owned by Rachel Lando and Kristy Smith. Hemmed in on both sides at its Kimball Junction location, the studio turned its attention to Prospector and Old Town.
“We had two must-haves: parking and the ability to put our heat in the ceiling,” Armstrong-Solomon said. “If either of those were a no, it wouldn’t work.”
Local support proved instrumental. Community members flooded the studio with location suggestions via direct messages and texts, prompting Armstrong-Solomon to scout numerous spaces. One offered excellent ceilings but no parking; another had great parking but couldn’t accommodate ceiling-mounted heaters.
Pete and Jolie Iacobelli ultimately connected Armstrong-Solomon with the permanent location at 1850 Sidewinder Drive, in the same building as the Park City Chamber of Commerce and PC Tots.
“It’s really beautiful for me,” Armstrong-Solomon said. “The space is the original size of PCYC before we expanded, so that holds a lot of lovely memories and feelings.”
The Prospector location will start with three to four classes per day in a room that seats 24 students. Nothing changes at the Kimball Junction studio, where all existing classes, teachers, and time slots remain in place. Instructors will simply add one or two classes to their schedules at the new location.
Pricing and amenities remain consistent across both studios. Local passes remain at $100 for 10 classes, and the studio continues to offer complimentary mat and towel use. Passes work at both locations through a single account, with both schedules visible when members log in.
“Our hope is that Kimball can get a breather and our locals on the Old Town side of town can stop fighting traffic to get to yoga,” Armstrong-Solomon said. “We love tourism, and we love our second-home friends and visitors. But we have always been a locals-focused studio, so it just felt right to expand our offerings.”
