Collections Magazine Winter 2024 highlights polarity fostering cohesion
UTAH — What began as an in-house property guide for Summit Sotheby’s International Realty (SSIR) clients evolved into Collections Magazine, which was awarded the best print marketing in the world by Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate.
“This is the 29th issue of Collections Magazine— notably, the black and white edition— and it may be my favorite one yet,” Thomas Wright, CEO and Principal Broker, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty.
In this edition, the film photography of Paul Bundy coincides with the digital captures of Austin Lamoreaux and Sarah Brunson in Opposing Elements, a collection inspired by the stark differences and timeless sophistication of black and white imagery.
The interplay of light and dark, edge and elegance, architecture and human presence symbolizes the diversity of the homes, estates and lifestyles of Utah.
Summit Sotheby’s International Realty stands as a testament to being extraordinary in polarities – from transaction management, real estate professionals and legal services to marketing, strategy, design, premier videography and photography.
“The beauty of contrast lies in its ability to enhance and highlight the qualities of opposing elements, creating a dynamic and visually compelling experience,” Wright wrote. “The interplay between opposites creates interest and depth. Interestingly enough, this concept of polarity…weaves itself naturally into real estate. We often see this utilized in well-executed interior design; when contrasting elements are paired—whether in colors, textures, materials or concepts—they create a striking visual impact that captures our attention. Even in a more simple way, the contrast between a property buyer and a property seller is where our firm steps in to bring these two, seemingly opposite ideas together.”
The blending of these opposing elements within the brand sparks collaborative energy, creating possibility and innovation, transcending boundaries – Summit Sotheby’s International Realty believes the magazine reflects this coalescence.
