Weekly weather report: Rain and snow midweek, mostly sunny skies into Veterans Day weekend

New snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible on Tuesday night

PARK CITY, Utah — According to Park City’s weekly weather forecast from the National Weather Service, this week residents can expect rain and snow midweek, leading into calmer weather throughout Veterans Day weekend.

Monday, Nov. 6 

Today is forecasted to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 56 and south-southwest wind 14 to 16 mph.

Tonight is expected to be mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of rain, mainly after 11 p.m. and a low around 34. South southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming west-northwest in the evening.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

Rain and snow are forecasted on Tuesday before 11 a.m., becoming rain between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., then snow again after 2 p.m. The high will be near 42 with west-northwest wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%, and new snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of snow and a low around 23. North-northwest wind 6 to 8 mph, and new snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

Wednesday is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with a 20% chance of snow and a high near 40. Light north-northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Wednesday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 19.

Thursday, Nov. 9

Thursday is forecasted to be sunny, with a high near 42. Thursday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 21.

Friday, Nov 10

Friday is forecasted to be partly sunny, with a high near 46. Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 23.

Saturday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day)

Saturday is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with a slight chance of snow and a high near 45. Saturday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 25.

Sunday, Nov. 12 

Sunday is forecasted to be sunny, with a high near 52.
