SNAPPED: Snowmaking operations underway as Park City resorts embrace frosty forecast

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort have fired up their snow-guns to begin snowmaking operations for the 2023/2024 season. Park City Mountain is scheduled to open on Friday, Nov. 17 and Deer Valley has an anticipated opening of Dec. 2. Temps were in the low teens this morning and the cold snap is expected to run through mid next week.
