Traffic stop leads to the discovery of twelve ‘bundles’ of cocaine and methamphetamine

PARK CITY, Utah — A traffic stop yesterday on Ute Boulevard lead to the discovery of multiple “bundles” of cocaine and methamphetamine.

According to a log from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, a driver was stopped near the Richins Building after a records check showed the vehicle had a canceled registration.

The driver was found to have an active warrant, and a consent search of the vehicle revealed 12 packaged bundles of illicit drugs.

According to a spokesperson for the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, officers confiscated a total of 7 grams of cocaine and 3 grams of meth from the vehicle.

The driver was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail, and the vehicle was impounded.
