Ice fisherman rescued at Strawberry Reservoir

STRAWBERRY, Utah — An injured fisherman was rescued by Wasatch County Search and Rescue over the weekend. On Saturday, March 4, a 55-year-old male was slammed into the ice by strong winds while taking down his tent at Strawberry Reservoir.

His injuries required SAR and a Wasatch Fire and Intermountain Life Flight.

There have been no updates as to the man’s current condition.
