Ikon Pass adds more choices for passholders in Andorra and British Columbia

DENVER, Colorado — Ikon Pass announced that they will be adding two new international resorts to their community: Grandvalira Resorts in Andorra and Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia, Canada. Ikon Pass holders will have access to these resorts starting in the 2022/23 winter season.

Ikon Pass also previously announced partnerships with Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley in France, Sun Valley in Idaho. Snowbasin in Utah, Lotte Arai Resort in Japan, and Panorama in British Columbia. Grandvalira Resorts will be the first partner in located in the Pyrenees.

Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer of Alterra Mountain Company said the following about the new partners:

“We are thrilled to give members of the Ikon Pass community more options to ski and ride in Europe and Canada this winter with the addition of Grandvalira Resorts Andorra and Sun Peaks Resort. We love offering pass holders even more endless adventures in the mountains by expanding this global mountain community with new like-minded partners.”

Good feelings abound among representatives from the new partners as well. Juan Ramón Moreno, Managing Director of Grandvalira Resorts said that “Ikon Pass holders will love our spectacular views of the Pyrenees, expansive terrain, and famed culinary traditions of the country of Andorra.” Aiden Kelly, Chief Marketing Officer of Sun Peaks Resort said that they “could not be more excited to join the Ikon Pass community.”

Ikon Pass holders will have access to seven days with no blackouts at both Grandvalira Resorts and Sun Peaks Resorts.

The Ikon Pass now features 54 destinations with these two new partners, with 177,010 total acres of coverage and 7,078 trails.
