Adult doubles sand volleyball league tournament serves up at City Park

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Municipal Athletic Recreation Center (MARC) hosted its end-of-the-season Summer in the City Volleyball Tournament, a Utah Outdoor Volleyball Association (UOVA) sanctioned event, at City Park for locals of all levels.

It was a men’s/women’s doubles tournament whereby Novice-AA divisions played on grass and Open division played on sand.

The tournament format was pool play followed by single elimination tournament (for teams that qualified).

RESULTS:

• 1st Place: Nick Davis & Spencer Madanay
• 2nd Place: Tim Gribb & Cassidy Maher

Jessica Moran, Media Manager for the MARC, told TownLift, “We had a fantastic turn-out for this fun event, and we can’t wait to see everyone again next year.”

Prizes were awarded to the top three teams in each division.
