PARK CITY, Utah. — On Thursday, U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced a partnership with Wigwam, the 117-year-old company in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, as the official sock provider for the Olympic national governing body of skiing and snowboarding in the United States.

The multi-year deal will provide ski and snowboard athletes, coaches, and on-snow support staff with socks knit in the U.S.A. that provide comfort, durability, and a high level of performance.

“For more than 100 years, Wigwam has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of their customers,” said U.S. Ski & Snowboard Chief Revenue Officer Michael O’Conor. “Their commitment to work with our athletes and coaches, and to develop socks specifically catering to athletic needs, will pay huge dividends as we enter another Olympic cycle.”

Since 1905, Wigwam has been a family-owned and operated company focused on knitting and providing socks throughout the United States. With three patented technologies, including Ultimax, INgenius, and SynchroKnit, the company has remained dedicated to quality, comfort, and innovation for more than a century.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work side by side with U.S. Ski and Snowboard and partner at multiple levels,” said Chief Merchandising Officer Margaret Newhard. “Wigwam’s legacy in the outdoors runs deep, and we feel confident this collaboration will not only strengthen athlete and support staff during their year-round training and competition but also inspire upcoming generations of aspiring athletes.”

The partnership will include co-branded products, social media content, and campaigns centered around U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes.
