Dozens of Park City-area athletes nominated to U.S. Ski & Snowboard teams for 2026-27

PARK CITY, Utah — U.S. Ski & Snowboard rolled out its 2026-27 team nominations Tuesday, and the list is packed with hometown talent.
Athletes from Park City and the surrounding area landed nominations across nearly every discipline — alpine, cross country, freeski, freestyle, ski jumping, snowboard and para teams. The Park City-headquartered organization nominates athletes each spring, with official team announcements to follow in October.
Here’s a look at the local names on the list.
Park City’s Lauren Macuga, Annika Hunt and Breezy Johnson all earned nominations to the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team. Lindsey Vonn, 41, is also back on the roster after an uncertain offseason about whether she’d continue competing. Other Utah-connected nominees include Salt Lake City’s Mary and Elisabeth Bocock, Katie Hensien and Isabella Wright.
Park City’s Sydney Palmer-Leger picked up a cross country nomination. Other Utah-connected nominees include Sophia Laukli, Novie McCabe, Neve Gerard and Zach Jayne, all training through the University of Utah.
Park City Ski & Snowboard loaded up the freeski roster. Alex Hall, Colby Stevenson, Marin Hamill, Rell Harwood, Troy Podmilsak, Henry Townshend and 17-year-old Marty Kingston all earned nominations. Other Utah-connected nominees include Hunter Hess, Grace Henderson, Hunter Henderson and Konnor Ralph.
Freestyle (moguls and aerials)
Freestyle brought the biggest local showing. Park City-area nominees include Winter Vinecki, Connor Curran, Tasia Tanner, Beaudin Napolitano, Alli Macuga, Nick Page and Cole McDonald. Athletes training locally through Wasatch Freestyle and the Elite Aerial Development Program — Kasey Hogg, Charlie Mickel, Dylan Marcellini, Kylie Kariotis and Asher Michel — round out a deep contingent. Other Utah-connected nominees include Kaysville’s Ian Schoenwald, Kaila Kuhn, Quinn Dehlinger, Chris Lillis, Ashley Caldwell, Kyra Dossa, Karenna Elliott, Dani Loeb, Derek Krueger, Ashton Salwan, Abby McLarnon and Jaelin Kauf.
Ski jumping
Park City’s Josie Johnson landed a ski jumping nomination. Other Utah-connected nominees include Annika and Erik Belshaw and Andrew Urlaub, all training through the University of Utah.
Snowboard
Salt Lake City’s Faye Gulini Thelen picked up a snowboard nomination. Other Utah-connected nominees include Rebecca Flynn, Sean FitzSimons and Bri Schnorrbusch.
Para teams
Woodland’s Saylor O’Brien earned a para alpine nomination through the National Ability Center, alongside NAC teammates Andrew Haraghey, Tyler McKenzie, Matthew Brewer and Robert Enigl. Salt Lake City’s Noah Bury also received a nomination. Kate Delson, Brenna Huckaby and Jackie Hamwey were nominated to the para snowboard team through Team Utah Snowboarding, and Sydney Peterson earned a para nordic spot through Team Soldier Hollow.
