Park City man arrested after giving 16-year-old coworker THC edible

PARK CITY, Utah — A 25-year-old Park City man is in custody after giving a 16-year-old female coworker a THC edible, which prompted her to have a seizure, according to ABC4.

The girl asked for a gummy after seeing them in a Sour Patch Kids bag that read “600 mg”, aware they were a THC product.

The girl later became seriously ill and began shaking uncontrollably, and was subsequently taken to the hospital.

Summit County Sheriff’s deputies later served a warrant on Juan Carlos Riqueno’s house, in which they found marijuana paraphernalia, along with LSD, MDMA, mushrooms, cocaine, Adderall, and methamphetamine.

Riqueno was arrested and is facing one count each of distributing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with six counts of possession with intent to distribute.
