SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — North Summit Fire District, along with Utah Highway Patrol, responded to an incident Sunday afternoon. A semi-truck traveling westbound on I-80 near mile marker 177 (northeast of Echo) lost a wheel that proceeded to roll into the eastbound lane and strike a pickup truck.
According to the Park City Fire District (PCFD), the driver was not injured. “He ducked to his left,” PCFD said in a post. “Another few inches would’ve been a different story.”
