I-80 lane closures expected at Lambs Canyon through Wednesday

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Drivers traveling westbound on Interstate 80 through Lambs Canyon should expect lane closures and possible delays through Wednesday as crews continue work on a Utah Department of Transportation paving project.
Westbound I-80 near milepost 136 at Lambs Canyon will be reduced to two lanes from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, through Wednesday, Oct. 21, while crews complete barrier work, according to UDOT.
The work is part of UDOT’s I-80 paving improvements in the Parleys Canyon corridor. The larger project is one of several ongoing improvements along I-80 aimed at repaving the roadway and improving bridges between Salt Lake County and the Wasatch Back.
UDOT is asking drivers to plan for delays, slow down through the construction zone, and follow posted traffic signs.
Additional project information is available through UDOT’s project website. Drivers can also contact the project team at i80paving@utah.gov or 385-273-7073.
