SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Due to weather shortening the hours of construction work, the schedule for the rehabilitation project along I-80 from the Hi-Ute Ranch to Silver Creek Junction has been modified.

Crews will be finalizing the I-80 mainline paving on Monday night, September 13.

I-80 will be restricted to one lane during the following times:

Monday – Friday
I-80 Eastbound – Restricted to one lane from 7 pm to 6 am
I-80 Westbound – Restricted to one lane from 6 pm to 7 am

Saturday – Sunday
I-80 Eastbound – Restricted to one lane from 4 pm to 10 am
I-80 Westbound – Restricted to one lane from 6 pm to 11 am

Below is the schedule for the remaining ramp paving work:

Tuesday 6 pm – Wednesday 5 am
Lane transitions will be in place at Silver Summit Junction Sunday and Monday nights as crews pave across the structure and the northbound on-ramp.

Wednesday 6 pm – Thursday 5 am
Crews will pave the tie-ins at the Kimball Junction eastbound ramps. This will require short-term closures (approximately 3 hours) of each ramp. To access Park City when the off-ramp is closed, please use the Silver Creek Junction Interchange to turn around or take S.R. 248 from U.S. 40 into Park City. To go towards Coalville, use S.R. 248 to U.S. 40.
