Your Utahn’s ten medals, Olympic results wrap up
TOKYO, Japan. — Utahn’s earned a total of ten medals included in 16 top-ten finishes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
- Haley Batten, 9th, USA, women’s cross country mountain bike cycling, born in Park City, attended Park City High School
- Nathaniel Coleman, 2nd, USA, men’s comb. sport climbing, born in Murray, Murray HS, lives in SLC
- Rhyan White, 4th, 4th, 2nd in 4 x 100 relay, USA, 100/200-m backstroke swim, born in Sandy, AMES HS, lives in SLC
- Jacob Gibb, 9th, USA, men’s beach volleyball, from Bountiful, attended U of U
- Nathan Crumpton, didn’t qualify, representing American-Samoa, men’s 100-m track and field, trained in skeleton at UOP
- Garrett Maugutufia, 10th, USA, men’s volleyball, represented America-Samoa in winter Games, trained in bobsled at UOP
- Jordan Matyas, 6th, USA, women’s rugby, played for BYU
- Douglas Martinez, 14th, representing Honduras, men’s soccer, plays for Real Salt Lake
- Grace McCallum, 2nd team event, USA, women’s team gymnastics, competes for U of U
- MyKayla Skinner, 2nd vault, USA, women’s individual gymnastics, competes for U of U
- Joe Ingles, 3rd, representing Australia, men’s basketball, plays for the Jazz
- Rudy Gobert, 2nd, representing France, men’s basketball, plays for the Jazz
- Becky Sauerbrunn, 3rd, USA, women’s soccer, former player for former NWSL Utah Royals soccer team played in Sandy
