Special Olympics Utah needs coaches for Special Olympics USA 2022 Florida

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. — Special Olympics of Utah is accepting applications for coaching positions in the sports of track and field, bocce, bowling, golf, and swimming for the upcoming USA Games to be held June 4-10, 2022 in Orlando, Florida.

Click here to fill out an online application and attach a resume along with two references. Applications are due by Wednesday, July 21 and final decisions will be made by July 31.

State and nationals coaches sometimes parlay opportunities to Special Olympics World Games.

The next Special Olympics World Winter Games are scheduled to be held in Kazan, Russia in 2022.

The next Special Olympics World Summer Games are scheduled to be held in Berlin, Germany in 2023.

The most recent Special Olympics World Winter Games were held in Graz/Schladming, Austria in 2017 and the most recent Special Olympics Summer Games were held in Abu Dabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2019. The most recent Special Olympics USA were held in Seattle, Washington in 2018.

While passionate and purposeful team-ups abound, Special Olympics is a stand-alone entity not officially affiliated with the Olympic Movement which encompasses Olympic, Paralympic, and Youth Olympic Games.
