Park City Police practice for an active gunman & mass casualty scenario

PARK CITY, Utah. — On Tuesday, June 15, the Park City Police Department facilitated an active gunman and mass-casualty training which was hosted by the Intermountain Park City Hospital and involved several local Park City jurisdictions.

The training exercise was in partnership with the Intermountain Park City Hospital, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the Utah Highway Patrol, Summit County Dispatch, the Park City Fire District, and the Summit/Park City SWAT Team.

The focus of the training was to practice working with law enforcement and EMS partners to treat and evacuate mass casualty victims.
