Police and Sheriff’s log: Calls for service

PARK CITY, Utah. — Stolen skis and snowboards and a bar brawl made for a busy week of calls for service to the Summit County Sheriff’s Department and Park City Police.

March 20: Police and EMS were called to 9100 Marsac Ave. for an injury accident inside a residence. One occupant was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. While EMS was on scene, another vehicle crashed into its fire truck. No one on scene was injured.

March 20: Sheriffs received a call reporting two snowboards had fallen off a car roof rack. The car’s driver was flagged down by someone who had moved the snowboards off the road. By the time he returned to the area, the snowboards were already gone.

March 21: Officers responded to a call of a drunk and disorderly person at The Cabin. A man who refused to leave the bar went on a rampage, trying to fight with the entire security staff at the bar, causing a brawl to break out. Some people sustained minor injuries. The man was arrested on suspicion of intoxication, resisting arrest and failure to leave a bar.

March 21: Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of stolen gear at a popular ski resort. Skis and poles had been stolen while the victim was eating lunch at the Red Pine Lodge at the Canyons Village area of the ski resort. The skis were described as gray Salomon skis rented from Canyon Mountain Sports. There are no suspects.
