BREAKING: Mysterious Monolith in Southern Utah Disappears

SOUTHEASTERN, Utah — On November 18, 2020, the Utah Department of Public Safety Aero Bureau was helping the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to count bighorn sheep in an area of southeastern Utah.

While in the air, they identified an unusual object. They landed and investigated. The flight crew discovered a metal monolith in the ground within a unique red rock canyon.

Puzzled, the crew took some pictures and video. They’ve decided not to disclose the exact location because it is in a remote area and if people were to attempt to visit, they’d possibly get stranded and require a rescue. Although, since this discovery, there have been some visitors to the monolith. You can read more about the discovery of the Monolith (that is allegedly outside of Moab, Utah) here.

As of today, Monday, November 30th, the monolith has been removed or has disappeared. There are plenty of theories flying around as to what and who took the monolith. But when you look at the Utah BLM pictures and description on Facebook, it becomes apparent that there is definitely a human car or automobile involved with the disappearance of the monolith.

Update: apparently, there is a new monolith in Romania, according to VICE Media.

Please remember that it is illegal on federally managed public lands to install structures or art without authorization, no matter what universe you come from.

Here is a video of the original flight crew that discovered the monolith:
