Summit Arts Market brings local artists, music, and food to Oakley

The free outdoor market returns to the Red Barn on Saturday with dozens of artists, live demonstrations and performances programmed by Mountain Town Music.

OAKLEY, Utah — The Summit Arts Market will bring dozens of local artists and creative businesses to Oakley’s Red Barn on Saturday, July 11, for a day of art, live music, food and community.

The free, open-air market runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 4300 State Route 32. Hosted by the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County, the annual event was created to support working artists and build connections between creatives and residents on Summit County’s east side.

Visitors can browse paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, glasswork, sculpture, woodwork, and other handmade goods. The market also gives attendees an opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about how their work is made.

Mountain Town Music will program live performances throughout the day. Andy Bailey will perform from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by Skylar Geer from 12:45 to 2:15 p.m. and The Fuse from 3 to 5 p.m. Local food trucks and beverage vendors will also be on-site.

Admission is free. More information and a complete list of participating artists are available through the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County.
