New Summit County dashboard maps a summer of road work from Henefer to Francis

Roads Dash arrives as I-80 bridge work, SR-224 construction and ramp closures converge on Summit County drivers

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Summit County has launched an interactive online dashboard to help drivers plan around this summer’s road construction.

The Roads Dash, available at summitcounty.info/roadsdash, maps the county’s planned road projects from Henefer to Francis, with project timelines, anticipated traffic impacts, and contact information for project-specific questions.

The dashboard also links to external resources covering larger state and city projects underway in and around the county, including the Utah Department of Transportation’s I-80 project dashboard, UDOT’s Rockport Bridge work dashboard, and Park City’s construction updates page.

The new tool arrives as Summit County drivers face one of the busiest construction seasons in recent memory. UDOT’s $73 million package of I-80 work — including bridge replacements at Jeremy Ranch, repaving in Parleys Canyon, and additional bridge work expected to last into late 2027 — is underway alongside five segments of SR-224 construction tied to the new bus rapid transit project running from Kimball Junction to Park City. Drivers headed to Salt Lake City International Airport are also navigating staggered ramp closures at the I-80/I-215 interchange through the summer.

County officials said making project information available in advance is intended to encourage patience during an already active construction season, and they urged drivers to slow down and watch for crews working throughout the county this summer.
