EDEN, Utah — Powder Haven, the private residential community and members-only ski club, announced a $157 million investment in new infrastructure, including two chairlifts, a new clubhouse and two residential neighborhoods with ski-in/ski-out access, Prado and The Chalets at Shelter Hill.
The investment follows the sellout of Powder Haven’s first neighborhood. The club is now releasing 34 lots in its next phase to a growing waitlist of prospective residents.
“We’re seeing tremendous momentum on the Powder Haven project, development is moving swiftly and there is a continuous, growing interest in the private ski category,” says Reed Hastings, CEO of Powder, “Future community members are recognizing the opportunity to help shape this place from the ground up, and are drawn to the public/private blended resort model, which gives them private ski access with the charm and character of a beloved 50+ year old resort. It’s the best of both worlds.”
Lot selection for both new neighborhoods opens May 1. The two new chairlifts are set to be operational for the 2026/27 ski season.

Prado
Prado is positioned as the marquee neighborhood at the heart of Powder Haven, featuring homesites ranging from approximately 1 to 4.5 acres, the largest currently available at the community. Prado lots offer enough acreage for multi-generational gatherings, space to add dwelling capacity over time, and a landscape that draws people back season after season. The lots are set among aspen groves and evergreens, with views of Pineview Reservoir and the Great Salt Lake.
The neighborhood offers ski-in/ski-out access to Powder Haven’s private terrain and proximity to Arclodge, a 73,000-square-foot clubhouse and lodge scheduled to open in 2028.

The Chalets at Shelter Hill
The Chalets at Shelter Hill comprise eight developer-built, single-family homes near the top terminal of the new Half Pint chairlift. The residences come in two configurations: three homes at approximately 3,600 square feet and five at approximately 5,400 square feet with the intimacy of a small, self-contained enclave. All eight offer ski-in/ski-out access.

New chairlifts
Two new chairlifts will open for the 2026/27 season, bringing Powder Haven’s private lift network to six lifts serving more than 3,000 skiable acres.
The Foxtrot Lift covers more than 1,200 vertical feet and improves connectivity between the recently built Raintree and Primetime lifts, which serve more advanced terrain, and the future village core. Half Pint is a slope-side lift designed to provide ski-in/ski-out access for residents.
Powder Mountain is located in Eden, Utah, approximately 50 miles north of Salt Lake City.
