Police Log: Car crashes into home, pursuit, and multiple thefts

A high-speed pursuit through Jeremy Ranch ended with a PIT maneuver and arrest, while separate DUI cases included a crash into a home in Kamas and a vehicle that struck power boxes off Back Nine Circle. Officers also responded to repeated noise complaints, wildlife hazards involving elk near SR-224, and several theft reports across Park City.
Monday, March 30
Incident: Disturbing the peace
A loud party was reported in a neighborhood on Meadows Drive.

A vehicle playing loud music and making excessive noise was reported on Swede Alley.
Incident: Traffic hazard
Bags of trash were reported in the roadway near Kearns Boulevard and Woodbine Way.
Incident: Business assist
A 7-Eleven employee on Park Avenue requested police assistance for two men outside bothering customers.
Tuesday, March 31
Incident: Non-injury accident
A crash was reported on Snow Creek Drive after a vehicle pulled out in front of another.
Incident: Suspicious circumstances
A homeowner on Aerie Drive reported a person attempting to access their home, captured on a Ring camera.
Incident: DUI
A driver was arrested after crashing off the roadway, striking multiple power boxes, and becoming stuck in a ditch near Back Nine Circle. Signs of impairment were observed.
Incident: Pursuit / DUI
A vehicle fled from deputies, leading to a pursuit through Jeremy Ranch. Deputies deployed spike strips and performed a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle. The driver was arrested for evading, DUI, and reckless driving.
Wednesday, April 1
Incident: Traffic hazard
Road cones on SR-224 were reported to be obstructing turning space near White Pine Canyon Road.
Incident: Fire response
Smoke was reported coming from inside a home on McHenry Avenue. No flames were visible.
Incident: DUI
A driver was arrested after crashing into a home in Kamas, causing significant structural damage. No injuries to occupants were reported. The house sustained structural damage but was deemed safe for residents.
Incident: Smoke scare
Heavy smoke was reported near an apartment building on Kearns Boulevard.
Incident: Wildlife problem
Two herds of elk were reported near SR-224, raising concerns they may enter the roadway.

A shopping cart containing personal belongings was reported stolen from City Park.
Incident: Wildlife problem
A herd of approximately 25 elk was observed near SR-224 and Meadows Drive, appearing close to crossing the road.
Friday, April 3
Incident: Citizen assist
Main Street closures prevented a school bus from accessing pickup and drop-off locations.
Incident: Theft
A theft of cigarettes and batteries was reported from Fresh Market.
Saturday, April 4
Incident: Citizen assist / theft
A caller reported multiple stolen personal items, including musical instruments, equipment, and a wallet.
Incident: Motorist assist
Officers encountered individuals pushing a disabled vehicle near the blue roof 7-11.
Incident: Disturbing the peace
A large, loud party was reported on Coalition View Court.
Incident: Drugs
During a traffic stop on I-80, a K9 alerted to narcotics. A search revealed cocaine and paraphernalia. The suspect was booked into jail.

Incident: Drugs
During a traffic stop for outstanding warrants, deputies discovered methamphetamine and paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
