Clocks fall back one hour to 1 a.m. on Sunday, November 3
PARK CITY, Utah – Don’t forget to “fall back” this Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 am. Daylight saving time will end, setting clocks back an hour to 1 am.
The state of Utah observes daylight saving time from March to November. Although Utah passed a law in 2020 to make daylight saving time permanent, it hinges on Congress changing the federal statute.
Efforts to establish permanent daylight saving time in Utah have stalled in recent years. While the Sunshine Protection Act passed the Senate in 2022, it stalled in the House. Similar legislation failed to gain traction in committees in 2023.
